In a row to make Delhi the best smart city of India, the Delhi Development Authority has divided the city into zones. And L zone is most talked about zone of Delhi. Located in South West Delhi, L Zone is near to Dwarka, South Delhi and Gurgaon. The zone covers 22,979 acres of land and will be the most populated area of Delhi in coming years.
Development of L zone is planned under master plan 2021 and the land pooling policy. The biggest advantage of this zone is its upcoming residential projects offered at the price which suits the budget of every common man.DDA has invited builders/land developers for making Delhi a planned city.
According to the Land Pooling Policy, the builders shall purchase land directly from farmers and will submit it to DDA. Later, DDA will undertake a particular percentage of land and will return the remaining land to the builder for commencing the building of residential project. Currently, Delhi is not having pool of land pieces and that is of course one of the reasons for increasing property rates. Experts from the real estate sector have predicted L Zone as the hub of opportunities in coming future.
Add on feature of L Zone is its connectivity. The zone is planned to have Urban Extension Road I and II (UERI&II) which will reduces traffic congestion from Dwarka towards Gurgaon.
